After this peer review session I am ready to go back into my essay and revise. My biggest goal is to really target my thesis and incorporate only the most important and beneficial information into my paper, making sure that I am not adding useless information. In order to achieve this goal I am going to need to reread my paper and decide whether my text is relevant to the prompt or not. I then will review my peer edits to help revise my paper. I also plan to read my paper out loud to ensure it makes sense. I believe my biggest challenge will be editing as a whole. I find myself overseeing mistakes I could easily be taking care of. Also just deciding relevancy is a challenge as I believe what I am writing is important, hence why I wrote it, even if it may not be the most important. If a challenge comes up that proves too difficult for me I plan to ask my peers for help and ask for their advice. If this fails and I am completely stuck I can email Professor Emerson for some help and even schedule an appointment to talk about specific concerns.
